Freshman (students who have never attended college after HS graduation)

Students who apply and are admitted by February 5th receive an early invitation to select a registration date for our summer Freshman Getting Started program. We ask you to participate in this two-day program that runs in June & July each year. Those who attend earlier in the program have more selection for course times, etc. But, we have limits on how many can participate each day — being able to sign up early is a real benefit.

Transfers (those who have attended college since HS graduation)

Transfer Getting Started is an opportunity for transfer students who are admitted by late March to meet with an advisor and select course for the fall. The timing of this event allows transfer students to pick courses before most current students. Participants typically get any class they want, at whatever time they wish. Apply early to participate in this program.
